If an international aircraft wishes to land at a non-first point of entry an application for permission under section 239 of the Biosecurity Act 2015 must be submitted directly to the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment for approval.
The Request to land an aircraft or unload goods at a place not determined to be a point of entry in Australian territory application form may also be used to:
- Apply for permission to unload goods at a non-first point of entry for those goods.
- Apply for standing permission to land at a non-first point of entry for a specified period of time.
This application is required at least 10 working days prior to arrival. The completed application form is to be submitted via email to Non First Point.
