January 2013	Edwards Livestock Company Pty Ltd	The final investigation report will be placed on the department’s website once it has been completed. The department placed the following conditions on a similar subsequent consignment of cattle by this exporter: That the cattle loaded by Edwards Livestock Company Pty Ltd are provided with an additional 10% space above that required by the ASEL. That an AAV accompany the consignment to report on the health and welfare of the livestock The result for the subsequent consignment with these conditions applied was 0 mortalities out of 350 cattle loaded.
May 2013	Elders International Australia Limited	DAFF is investigating the cause of the morality event. The investigation is not yet finalised. The final investigation report will be placed on the department’s website once it has been completed. The department placed the following conditions on a similar subsequent consignment of cattle by this exporter: That the cattle loaded by Elders International Australia Limited are provided with an additional 10% space above that required by the ASEL. That an AAV accompany the consignment to report on the health and welfare of the livestock That the cattle have been vaccinated according to the manufacturer’s recommendations with Bovi-shield® MH-One.
