About this response
On 28 November 2018, the House of Representatives Standing Committee on the Environment and Energy resolved to inquire into and report on the Department of the Environment and Energy's annual report 2017-18, with particular reference to:
- The effectiveness of control measures to limit the spread of cane toads in Australia.
- Additional support for cane toad population control measures.
On 26 March 2019 the Committee tabled its report Cane Toads on the march Inquiry into controlling the spread of cane toads.
The Australian Government has considered the recommendations of the Committee’s report and has provided this response.
