This Industry Advice Notice updates IAN 2011/30 regarding the suspension of phytosanitary certificates generated through the Exdoc system for all horticulture, grain & plant products exported from Australia to France. This suspension was due to the European and International Sanitary Affairs Branch of the French Ministry of Agriculture no longer accepting electronically generated signatures and seals on Australian phytosanitary certificates.
The Plant Export Operations branch wishes to advise that a phytosanitary certificate is now available through the Exdoc system that may be issued to certify horticulture, grain and plant products exported from Australia to France.
This certificate will be generated without the electronic signature and seal and will only print in an AQIS office, where an authorised AQIS officer will sign and stamp the certificate. The certificate (original, duplicate and triplicate copies) will then be available to the exporter.
For further information please contact the Plant Exports National Systems Manager.
