The Biosecurity Emergency Management - Response Planning Guide provides guidance on planning practices and processes that could be followed during the response to biosecurity incidents.
The Response Planning Guide is intended to be used by staff within operations centres established at the national, state/territory, local and field levels, during the response to all types of biosecurity incidents.
The Response Planning Guide was originally endorsed by the National Biosecurity Committee in February 2010.
As there have been a number of developments in biosecurity emergency management since then, the Biosecurity Emergency Preparedness Working Group is currently undertaking a review of the Response Planning Guide, in order to ensure it maintains currency with current practices and recent developments.
