Who does this notice affect?
Stakeholders in the import and shipping industries – including Biosecurity Industry Participants, master consolidators, vessel masters, freight forwarders, importers, customs brokers and principle shipping agents – associated with the transport or importation of chemical or mined (inorganic) fertiliser.
What has changed?
The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (department) is undertaking an external consultation process in relation to proposed changes to its Imported Inorganic Fertiliser Management policies (see Import Industry Advice Notice 03-2024 for details).
As part of this process, the department is hosting an industry information session via Microsoft Teams Live to provide an overview of these proposals, and will also allow attendees to ask any questions they may have.
The information session will be held on Tuesday 13 February from 2:00pm-3:00pm (AEDT).
