Who does this notice affect?
All clients currently lodging import documentation for biosecurity assessment via email.

This information is following on from Industry Advise Notice 12/2016.
As of 30 March 2016, the Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS) will be used to lodge all Full Import Declarations.
As a result, the National Quarantine Processing email and Nationalf Food Processing email will be discontinued for all Full Import Declarations and Upgraded Self Assessed Clearances.
The following commodities will be exempt from lodgement into COLS and will need to be sent to our new Import Assessment email address:
- Carnets
- Military Consignments
- Personal Effects
- Ship Stores
- Transhipment Requests
In addition communication relating to the below will remain open within the new email address for:
- Imported Food Laboratory nomination forms
- Overtime booking requests
- Payments (subject to the above commodities)
The SACNCC email will continue to operate and will also now include:
- All Upgraded Self Assessed Clearances
- Movement Advice for Animal Transport Equipment
To continue the departments approach in modernising and improving service delivery, more information will be published shortly to advise how clients will be able to identify and prioritise their lodgements when sending documentation to Import Assessment and SACNCC.
