Farm forestry has an important role in helping tackle the land and water degradation issues affecting Australia's agricultural landscapes. Regional planning offers communities the opportunity to realise the multiple benefits of farm forestry.
Farm forestry's role articulates how farm forestry projects can be incorporated into the new regional natural resource management planning processes and framework. This publication provides information, advice and contacts on how farm forestry meets the objectives of the Australian Government's Natural Heritage Trust Extension and the National Action Plan for Salinity and Water Quality.
