The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) Board (the Board) was established on 4 March 2022 and is responsible for ensuring the proper, efficient, and effective performance of the APVMA’s functions. The Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Administration) Act 1992 outlines the establishment and functions of the Board, including the requirement for review of the Board.
On 27 November 2024, the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, the Hon Julie Collins MP tabled the APVMA - Review of the Functions and Operations of the Board in both Houses of Parliament
