Formal surveys of the Heard Island and McDonald Islands (HIMI) fishery and Macquarie Island Toothfish Fishery (MITF) haven’t been possible due to the low number of business operating in the area. This report provides a first attempt to use non survey methods to estimate the net economic returns for these fisheries.
