Who does this notice affect?
All clients required to use the department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions (BICON) System during this planned maintenance period.
All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment during this planned outage.
All exporters who will be required to generate export documents during this planned outage.
All shipping agents or operators of maritime conveyances who will be required to report pre-arrival information during this planned outage.
All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs who will be required to use the Post Entry Biosecurity System during this planned outage period.
Information
Due to scheduled maintenance of the department’s IT infrastructure, the systems listed below will experience two x 25 minute outages between 00:01 and 03:00 Saturday 16 February 2019 (AEDT).
- Biosecurity Import Conditions (BICON) system
- Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS)
- Export Documentation System (EXDOC)
- Maritime Arrivals Reporting System (MARS)
- Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS)
Action
Clients are advised to complete and submit any in-progress import permit applications or work items prior to the commencement of the planned maintenance period.
