Who does this notice affect?
All clients attempting to access invoices using the department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions (BICON) system during this planned maintenance period.
All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment during this planned maintenance period.
All clients who will be required to make an online payment during this planned maintenance period.
All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs who will be required to use the Post Entry Biosecurity System during this planned maintenance period.
Information
Due to an unscheduled outage to the department’s finance system, invoicing services are unavailable in the following systems:
- Biosecurity Import Conditions (BICON) system
- Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS)
- Online Payment Service (OPP)
- Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS)
Action
Clients are advised to avoid making payments through the above listed systems. The department is investigating this issue as a high priority and apologises for any inconvenience caused.
The department will advise once this issue has been resolved.
