The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment's Biological Consultative Group (BCG) is a consultative forum for the department, importers of biological products and stakeholders. The forum supports discussion of issues relevant to the department and industries importing biological products.
The aim of the BCG is to provide the department and industry with a consultative forum to ensure that effective biosecurity outcomes are delivered without unnecessary impediments to trade by facilitating efficient and effective biosecurity regulation across the biosecurity continuum.
