Purpose
The purpose of this Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to inform authorised officers of an update to the Reference: Plant exports compliance, approval and running records user guide on the Plant Export Operations Manual (PEOM).
Summary of changes and key points
- The Reference: Plant exports compliance, approval and running records user guide has been updated to provide further clarity around completing export compliance record PE101 (version 3).
- The ‘target quantity’ field is completed when the selected sampling rate is being applied across the whole consignment. This field is left blank where the client has chosen to have every line on the RFP is inspected separately.

- Further updates to compliance, approval and running records will be notified through an IAN.
Background
The horticulture exports program recently released new instructional material for horticulture inspections, as notified in IAN 2017-35. Included in this release was an updated export compliance record PE101 (version 3).
The plant exports compliance, approval and running records user guide has been updated to include instructions for filling out export compliance record PE101 (version 3).
The department is currently reviewing all compliance, approval and running records. Changes will be notified through an IAN as they occur.
