Purpose
To advise industry that there are new in-transit cold treatment requirements for horticulture exports to Indonesia, which have been updated in the Manual of Importing Country Requirements (Micor).
Background
Following discussion with the Indonesian Agricultural Quarantine Agency (IAQA), in-transit cold treatment requirements for horticulture exports to Indonesia have been updated in Micor.
Key Points
Micor cases for table grapes, citrus and cherries have been updated to reflect changes to in-transit cold treatment requirements for exports to Indonesia. Further Micor cases for other horticultural commodities are being amended.
Details of alternative treatments are also outlined in the Micor cases. Onshore cold treatment details are still being finalised and will be updated on Micor as soon as possible.
Exporters wishing to export commodities other than those listed above should contact their local regional office.
If you have any further enquiries, please email the Horticulture Exports Program.
