1 July 2011
This Industry Advice Notice is to inform you that the 40 per cent rebate provided to exporters ceases on 30 June 2011. This rebate was offered under the Export Certification Reform Package to assist industry with the transition to full cost recovery.
The relevant Ministerial Taskforces are currently discussing revised fees and charges that will more appropriately underpin the new service delivery models. More information regarding new fees and charges will be posted on the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry website when it is available.
Current fees and charges were agreed with industry in 2009 and were associated with the reform package which included a 40 per cent rebate until 30 June 2011.
The fee schedules can be found at Grain fees and charges and Horticulture fees and charges.
