This market access advice replaces MAA2013-04. The Department of Agriculture (the department) has negotiated revised certification requirements for fish and fishery products exported to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Consignments of seafood exported to Saudi Arabia must now be accompanied by an FX46S certificate with endorsement 2999.
The department has been advised that this certificate will continue to be accepted while a bilingual certificate is developed by Gulf Corporation Council countries and distributed to importing countries. A timeframe for the implementation of this bilingual certificate has not been provided.
MICOR has been updated to reflect these changes.
