Who does this notice affect?
All clients who will be required to make an online payment during this planned outage.
All clients attempting to submit permit applications and access invoices using the Department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions System (BICON) during this planned outage.
All shipping agents or operators of maritime conveyances who will be required to report pre-arrival information during this planned maintenance outage.
All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment during this planned outage.
All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs who will be required to use the Post Entry Biosecurity System during this planned outage.
Information
Due to scheduled infrastructure maintenance, the following systems may experience multiple intermittent outages between 23:00 Wednesday 12 March to 02:00 Thursday 13 March 2025 (AEDT):
- Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS)
- Online Payment Service (OPS)
- Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS)
The following systems will be available during this time, however clients may encounter error messages when attempting to view invoices or make payments:
- BICON
- Maritime and Aircraft Reporting System (MARS)
Action
Clients are advised to await the completion of this maintenance period before attempting to access these services.
