Who does this notice affect?
All clients submitting the below declarations:
- Full Import Declaration (FID)
- Long Form Self Assessed Clearance (LFSAC)
- Short Form Self Assessed Clearance (SFSAC)
- Cargo Report Self Assessed Clearance (CRSAC)
- Cargo Report Personal Effects (PE)
All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment.
Information
The unplanned service disruption between DAFF messaging services and the Department of Home Affairs Integrated Cargo System (ICS) has been resolved.
Detail: Between 12:30 and 14:00 Friday 21 February 2025 (AEDT) there was an unplanned service disruption between DAFF messaging services and the ICS, resulting in users being unable to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department via the Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS).
Messages queued during the service disruption have since been sent, and users of COLS are able to lodge imported cargo documentation as normal.

No action required. The department apologises for any inconvenience caused.
