Who does this notice affect?
Accredited persons operating under the department’s approved arrangement class 19.2 automatic entry processing for commodities (AEPCOMM), Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC) providers and Registered Training Operators (RTO’s).
What has changed?
From 20 June 2024, the scope of the approved arrangement class 19.2 has been expanded to include the following commodities:
- 6305 - sacks and bags, of a kind used for the packing of goods
- 6309 - worn clothing and other worn articles
- 6310 - used or new rags, scrap twine, cordage, rope and cables and worn out articles of twine, cordage, rope or cables, of textile materials
- 6911 - tableware, kitchenware, other household articles and toilet articles, of porcelain or china
- 7013 - glassware of a kind used for table, kitchen, toilet, office, indoor decoration or similar purposes
- 7307 – Tube or pipe fittings (for example, couplings, elbows, sleeves), of iron or steel
- 7311 - containers for compressed or liquefied gas, of iron or steel
- 7326 - Other articles of iron or steel
- 8414.51 - table, floor, wall, window, ceiling or roof fans, with a self-contained electric motor of an output not exceeding 125 W
- 8501 - Electric motors and generators (excluding generating sets)
- 9301 - military weapons, other than revolvers, pistols and the arms of 9307.00.00
- 9403 - other furniture and parts thereof
- 9504.90.90.83 - board games
- 9615 - combs, hair-slides and the like; hairpins, curling pins, curling grips, hair-curlers and the like, other than those of 8516, and parts thereof
In addition to the above, the following BICON cases have been expanded to include new AEPCOMM BICON pathways:
- Prefabricated office, accommodation units and caravans
- Tyres
- Imported sea-going vessels
- Dairy
- Bee products.
