Who does this notice affect?
All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment during this planned maintenance period.
All shipping agents or operators of maritime conveyances who will be required to report pre-arrival information during this planned maintenance period.
All clients who will be required to make an online payment during this planned maintenance period.
All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs who will be required to use the Post Entry Biosecurity System during this planned maintenance period.
Information
Update: The planned infrastructure maintenance for Friday 19 May 2023 has been rescheduled.
Scheduled infrastructure maintenance to the following systems will now occur from 23:30 Friday 02 June to 04:00 Saturday 03 June 2023 (AEST):
- Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS)
- Maritime and Aircraft Reporting System (MARS)
- Online Payment Service (OPS)
- Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS)
Users will be unable to lodge treatment certificates through the BMSB Declaration and Treatment Certificate Portal during this time.
Action
Clients are advised to await the completion of this maintenance period before attempting to access these services.
