Who does this notice affect?
Biosecurity industry participants and accredited persons operating under the department’s Class 19.1 non-commodity for containerised cargo clearance (NCCC) & Class 19.2 automatic entry processing for commodities (AEPCOMM) approved arrangements; Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC) providers and registered training organisations (RTOs).
What has changed?
Key dates for the Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC) 2022-23 period have been published on the training and accreditation for approved arrangements webpage. The CBC activity (live webinar) will be held on Tuesday 12 July 2022 at 10:30am AEST. Further communication to industry will be published once registration for the live webinar is open, approximately 3 weeks prior to the live event. A recording of the session will be made available on the CBC activities webpage shortly after the webinar has concluded.
Please contact your industry CBC provider to undertake the assessment by Monday 8 August 2022. CBC completion records will be kept and managed by CBC providers however, it is also your responsibility to keep your own evidence of CBC completion as they may be requested by the department.
