Who does this notice affect?
All clients attempting to submit and/or pay for permit applications using the Department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions System (BICON).
Information
The unplanned service disruption affecting the Biosecurity Import Conditions System has been partially resolved. Clients can now submit permit applications with payment as normal.
The issue preventing some clients from attaching documents to permit applications has not been resolved. This issue is still under investigation.

Document attachment errors
If you receive an error when attaching a document to your permit application, please send the document via email to imports@aff.gov.au and include the permit application ID once submitted.
