Who does this notice affect?
All customs brokers, importers, biosecurity industry participants, and food importers that departmental officers may attend (for inspections, surveillance, or other purposes).
What has changed?
Work has been progressing under the Cargo Service Delivery Rapid Response team established in September to respond to ongoing disruptions with commercial cargo imports, as per Import Industry Advice Notice on 28 Sept 2022 (available at https://www.agriculture.gov.au/biosecurity-trade/import/industry-advice/2022/182-2022).
One of the commitments made by the rapid response team was to expand current industry engagements and communications, through enhanced engagement with industry and hosting a range of webinars to share information on current departmental initiatives available to industry.
