Who does this notice affect?
All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment.
All shipping agents or operators of maritime conveyances who will be required to report pre-arrival information.
All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs who will be required to use the Post Entry Biosecurity System.
All offshore treatment providers required to lodge treatment certificates through the BMSB Declaration and Treatment Certificate Portal.
Information
The Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS), Maritime Arrivals Reporting System (MARS) and Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS) are currently experiencing intermittent unplanned outages.
Users may also be unable to lodge treatment certificates through the BMSB Declaration and Treatment Certificate Portal.
The department is investigating this issue as a priority.

No action required. The department apologies for any inconvenience caused and will advise when this issue has been resolved.
