Who does this notice affect?
Vessel operators, shipping agents, importers, and brokers.
What has changed?
The transitional first point of entry (FPOE) determination for the Port of Derby will lapse on 15 June 2021. A new determination will not be made, and the port will cease to be an FPOE.
After this date vessel operators who intend to arrive at the Port of Derby are required to seek prior permission from the department. Prior permission from the department is also required before any cargo subject to biosecurity control can be unloaded at the Port of Derby.
