Who does this notice affect?
All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment during this planned outage.
All shipping agents or operators of maritime conveyances who will be required to report pre-arrival information during this planned outage.
All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs who will be required to use the Post Entry Biosecurity System during this planned outage period.
All offshore treatment providers required to lodge treatment certificates through the BMSB Declaration and Treatment Certificate Portal.
Information
Due to scheduled infrastructure maintenance, the Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS), Maritime Arrivals Reporting System (MARS) and the Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS) will be unavailable from 23:30 Saturday 27 February to 08:00 Sunday 28 February 2021 (AEDT).
Users will be unable to lodge treatment certificates through the BMSB Declaration and Treatment Certificate Portal during this time.
Action
Clients are advised to await the completion of this maintenance period before attempting to access these services.
