What has changed?
The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment ran two round table sessions on 8 and 9 June 2021. The aim of these sessions was to engage industry in a collaborative information exchange across a range of biosecurity treatment related topics.
The sessions provided an opportunity for stakeholders to engage in interactive presentations, ask questions, seek technical advice, and provide feedback to the department.
A communique summarising the events of the two roundtable sessions has been distributed to attendees, alongside a copy of the presentations. If you have not received a copy of either of these but wish to obtain one, please email afas@awe.gov.au.
Due to the positive feedback received from participants, the department intends to hold future roundtables on targeted topics requiring the industry’s input.
