Who does this notice affect?
All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment during this planned maintenance period.
All shipping agents or operators of maritime conveyances who will be required to report pre-arrival information during this planned maintenance period.
All clients who will be required to make an online payment during this planned maintenance period.
All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs who will be required to use the Post Entry Biosecurity System during this planned maintenance period.
Information
Due to scheduled infrastructure maintenance, the following systems will be unavailable from 23:30 Friday 04 June to 01:30 Saturday 05 June 2021 (AEST):
- Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS)
- Online Payment Service (OPS)
- Maritime Arrivals Reporting System (MARS)
- Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS)
Users will be unable to lodge treatment certificates through the BMSB Declaration and Treatment Certificate Portal during this time.
Action
Clients are advised to avoid using the above listed systems for the duration of the maintenance period.
