Who does this notice affect?
Aircraft operators, airlines, importers and brokers.
What has changed?
A new biosecurity first point of entry (FPOE) determination has been made for Broome International Airport, commencing on 16 June 2020.
Broome International Airport is now an FPOE for:
- Aircraft generally,
- Goods other than live horses.
It is the obligation of the person in charge or operator of an aircraft to ensure the aircraft complies with the relevant FPOE determination. Stakeholders should consult relevant FPOE determinations to ensure that their proposed aircraft or goods movements are compliant with the current determinations.
The Broome International Airport Determination 2020 is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.
