Who does this notice affect?
Aircraft operators, airlines, vessel operators, shipping agents, importers and brokers.
What has changed?
The transitional first point of entry determinations for Lord Howe Island Airport and Port of Howe Island lapse on 15 June 2020. Ongoing determinations will not be made.
After this date aircraft and vessel operators who intend to arrive at Lord Howe Island are required to seek prior permission from the department. Prior permission is also required before any cargo subject to biosecurity control can be unloaded at Lord Howe Island.
