Who does this notice affect?
All clients required to use the department’s Biosecurity Import Conditions (BICON) system during this planned maintenance period.
All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment during this planned outage.
All shipping agents or operators of maritime conveyances who will be required to report pre-arrival information during this planned outage.
All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs who will be required to use the Post Entry Biosecurity System during this planned outage.
Information
The department will be conducting scheduled system maintenance from 23:00 to 23:59 Tuesday 11 February 2020 (AEDT).
Users of the above listed systems may encounter errors when submitting applications, lodgements or bookings during this period.
Action
Clients are advised to avoid using the above listed systems during this planned maintenance period.
