Who does this notice affect?
Yacht operators and their agents.
What has changed?
The Port of Darwin is now a first point of entry for all classes of vessels, including non-commercial vessels.
The Port of Darwin Determination is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.
Yacht operators who intend to arrive at Darwin are no longer required to seek prior approval from our department. However, all yacht operators are required to give at least 96 hours’ notice of impending arrival.
