Who does this notice affect?
Yacht operators and their agents.
What has changed?
Coral Sea Marina, Airlie Beach is now determined as a biosecurity first point of entry (FPOE) for:
- Non-commercial vessels (including yachts and superyachts),
- Non-commercial vessel baggage, and
- Non-commercial vessel waste.
It is the obligation of the person in charge or operator of a vessel to ensure the vessel complies with FPOE determinations. Stakeholders should consult relevant FPOE determinations to ensure that their proposed vessel or goods movements are compliant with the current determinations.
The Coral Sea Marina Determination 2020 is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.
