Who does this notice affect?
All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment during this planned outage.
All shipping agents or operators of maritime conveyances who will be required to report pre-arrival information during this planned outage.
All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs who will be required to use the Post Entry Biosecurity System during this planned outage period.
All exporters of plants who require to submit inspection results or supporting plant export documentation.
Information
Due to a scheduled maintenance, the Cargo Online Lodgement System, Maritime Arrivals Reporting System, Post Entry Biosecurity, and the Plants Exports Management System will be unavailable from 23:00 Thursday 7 February to 00:05 Friday 8 February 2019 (AEDT).
Action
Clients who require their import cargo documentation to be assessed by the department, please await the completion of this scheduled outage before attempting to access this service.
For clients reporting maritime conveyances, electronic offline forms are available during this outage, but they do not constitute the approved form. Your reporting obligations are met once your information has been submitted in MARS.
For clients who are intending on importing plants, cats and/or dogs into the Post Entry Quarantine facility please await the completion of this scheduled outage before attempting to access this service.
For exporters who require to submit plant export results or documentation during this outage can email Plant Exports NDH with their submissions.
