Who does this notice affect?
This notice is of interest to clients of the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources who import goods (including air and sea cargo, international mail, food, like animals and plants) into Australia
What has changed?
The Biosecurity Cost Recovery Implementation Statement (CRIS) 2015–16 is now available on the department’s website. The CRIS outlines the redesigned fees and levies that will come into effect as of 1 December 2015.
The Biosecurity CRIS supersedes the following documents:
- Cost Recovery Impact Statement—Import Clearance 2014–2015
- Cost Recovery Impact Statement—Seaports 2014–2015
- Cost Recovery Impact Statement—Post Entry Animal Quarantine 2014–2015
- Cost Recovery Impact Statement—Horse Imports Program Fees
- CRIS—Portfolio (Airports)
- CRIS—Portfolio (International Mail)
- CRIS—Portfolio (PEQ plant).
