Purpose
This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to advise industry we are reviewing the published list of Approved Australian horticulture export protocol treatment facilities and seeking input from managers of registered establishments on the treatment types they hold.
Summary of changes and key points
- We are asking managers of horticulture protocol registered establishments to advise if they:
- would like their facility to be listed against some or all of the treatment types listed
- would like their facility to be removed from some or all of the treatment types listed
- have any changes to their facility listing on the published page, for example changes to the business name of the registered establishment.
- Responses to be sent to the Horticulture Exports Program by COB 30 April 2024. Please provide the following information when responding:
- registered establishment name/s
- registered establishment number/s
- which treatment types you wish to be listed against OR advise which treatment types you wish to be removed from OR changes to the listing, for example, business name.
- Only the registered establishment name and its state or territory location will be published on the webpage against the relevant treatment type/s.
- It is not a requirement for facilities to be listed on the webpage; participation is entirely optional. Managers of registered establishments may request changes to the list at any time.
Background
We publish a list of horticulture export registered establishments approved to undertake treatments for protocol markets.
The list may be used by industry when determining whether there is a registered treatment facility within their region that may assist in treating their product.
Only facilities that have provided permission will be published on the list.
