For further information regarding export-approval of growers, packhouses and treatment facilities refer to IAN 2017-58.
Background
In November 2017, China released new protocol agreements for various horticulture commodities.
To minimise the impost on industry, the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources has taken steps to ensure the new protocol conditions are consistent with current established practices.
Exporter responsibilities
It is the responsibility of the exporter to meet the requirements of the new protocol conditions. To access protocols and work plans, you must be a registered MICoR Plants user and apply for access to the relevant commodity/country combination.
