Purpose
To advise industry and Authorised Officers that an updated Quality System Recognition (QSR) guideline and grain work instruction have been published.
Background
The Quality System Recognition guideline has been updated to include further information regarding the background, process and policy. The inspection of prescribed grain work instruction (PGG3001) has also been updated to include an attachment for QSR.
Summary of changes and key points
- Provision of further background information on the QSR policy.
- Updated information provided on roles and responsibilities, and QSR process.
- Clarification on the packaging size limit in the QSR guideline.
- The prescribed grain work instruction (PGG3001) has been updated to include an attachment for QSR.
Exporter’s responsibilities
Exporters and occupiers of registered establishments that hold QSR approval should familiarise themselves with the updated guideline and with the new attachment 5 (for QSR) in the inspection of prescribed grain work instruction (PGG3001).
Please ensure any Authorised Officers that you engage for the services of inspections are using the latest version of the work instruction.
Authorised Officers
Authorised Officers should ensure they are using and are familiar with the latest version of the work instruction when undertaking any inspection activities.
