Purpose
To advise industry that Korea now permits the export of all varieties of sweet oranges (Citrus sinensis) from Australia.
Background
On 20 April 2016, Korea’s Department of Plant Quarantine, Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency announced that all varieties of sweet oranges of the species Citrus sinensis have been officially included in the protocol for the import of fresh sweet oranges and lemons from Australia. As a result, blood oranges are now permitted export to Korea.
