This Industry Advice Notice is to advise that the Agriculture & Forestry Department of Reunion, Plant Protection Service, will no longer accept electronically generated signatures on phytosanitary certificates generated through the EXDOC system for all horticulture, grain and plant products exported from Australia.
The Reunion Island Plant Protection Service have advised that phytosanitary certificates from Australia that bear electronically generated rather than original signatures will no longer be accepted.
The Plant Export Operations branch wishes to advise that a phytosanitary certificate is now available through the Exdoc system that may be issued to certify horticulture, grain and plant products exported from Australia to Reunion Island.
This certificate will be generated without the electronic signature and seal and will only print in a DAFF office, where an authorised DAFF officer will sign and stamp the certificate. The certificate (original, duplicate and triplicate copies) will then be available to the exporter.
