The Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) has updated the format of the web based manual Phytosanitary Certificate to align it with the electronically issued (EXDOC) Phytosanitary Certificate.
All manually issued Phytosanitary Certificate (E16) available from the AQIS website is slightly different from the self-carbon Phytosanitary certificate however both certificates are valid for export shipments of Australian plant and plant products. AQIS will be phasing out the pre-printed Phytosanitary certificate over the next 6 months.
All manually issued Phytosanitary certificates, printed from the AQIS web, must bear the word ORIGINAL in the top right-hand corner of the certificate and all subsequent copies will have the word COPY in the top right-hand corner of the certificate.
Attached is an example of the new format for the manual Phytosanitary Certificate. If you have any questions or require additional information please contact our EXDOC Plant Programs System Administrator.
