Micor will be updated to reflect this market access advice.
Please refer to Micor for full importing country requirements to export honey to Great Britain. These requirements include: listing with the UK Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, listing in the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Establishment Register (ER) and important information such as the export certificate must be issued before the consignment departs Australia, as required by UK law under retained EU regulation EC 2019/628.
The department encourages users of Micor to subscribe to the Micor update service for a commodity specific email that lists changes that have been made in the preceding week.
The department encourages exporters to work with their importers to ensure that products meet current importing country requirements.
