Purpose
To notify manufacturers and exporters of the new export certificates available for the export of edible tallow and raw materials for gelatine and collagen production into the European Union (EU).
Summary of key points
- Further to market access advice MAA 2022-03, the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry has now revised the following certificate templates in accordance with new EU requirements:

- If you export the above products, please ensure you have the updated certificate templates. The new certificates can be identified by the date at the bottom of each page, in this case 06-22. The latest certificate templates can be requested through foodexports@awe.gov.au.
- Outdated certificate templates signed on or after 16 June 2022 will not be accepted at EU ports.
- This market access advice supersedes MAA 2022-03.
