From 25 November 2019, any processed fruit/vegetable product and instant tea product in powder form in which barley spouts make up 50% or more of the final product regardless of country of manufacture, will be subject to the Inspection Order on arrival in Korea.
Samples of product will be taken and analysed for:
- Metallic foreign matters (iron powder), and
- Escherichia coli (only applies to processed fruit/vegetable product)
The enforcement period is from 25 November 2019 to 24 November 2020.
