Purpose
This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to advise industry that the NEXDOC portal has two new functions.
- Multiple users can be registered under one exporter account.
- Alternate Trading names can be added to an exporter account.
Summary of changes and key points
Multiple Users
The NEXDOC portal now allows exporters to have multiple users linked to their account. This new function allows each user to have their own log on and password. All users will have the same access level and will be able to see a full history of the exporter.
A user must have an online service account before they can be linked to an exporter account, and they are only allowed to be active in one exporter account at a time.
Exporters can make users linked to their profile active or inactive at any time.
This functionality can be found in the exporter's Account, Manage company users, Add new user.
Alternate Trading names
Exporters can now add multiple Alternate Trading names to their exporter account. Their initial account will be identified as the “Primary Account”. Alternate Trading name accounts must have the same ABN as the primary account, this field will be prepopulated and locked when adding a new alternate trading name.
This functionality can be found in the exporters Account, NEXDOC Services, Exporter Management.
