Purpose
To notify stakeholders of a list of approved shellfish harvest areas for export is now available from the department’s website.
Summary of Key Points
The department is now publishing a list of shellfish harvest areas that are approved to harvest shellfish for export. This will help exporters and registered establishments understand where they can source their shellfish for preparation and packing for export. Please note that EU and the UK approved harvest areas are at the bottom of the list.
