This notice replaces Industry Advice Notice 2013-10, issued by the Department of Agriculture in 22 August 2013.
The Department of Agriculture has been advised by the Tasmanian Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water & Environment (DPIPWE) of the following:
1. The Tasmanian Rock Lobster Fishery Eastern Region will be opened to commercial rock lobster fishing on 25 November 2013.
2. The Tasmanian southern D’Entrecasteaux channel waters that were closed to rock lobster fishing from 28 March 2013 will also open on 23 November 2013.

DAFF will continue to liaise with the Tasmanian authorities in relation to biotoxin management and update and re-issue notices as required.
