Purpose
This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to advise industry that the Australian Government’s Digital ID app, myGovID will be changing its name to myID.
Summary of changes and key points
The name change for myGovID to myID will not change how you register for the next export documentation system (NEXDOC).
You have two options to register via the department’s online service portal when registering for NEXDOC:
- myID and
- Create Account.
If you are already registered to use NEXDOC, there is nothing you need to do as your details will remain the same and you can continue to use the system as normal.
