Date of issue: 23 June 2023
Date of effect: 23 June 2023
Attention:
Registered dairy exporters, manufacturers, agents, freight forwarders, approved export permit issuers and EDI users.
Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (the department) - Central and Regional offices.
Purpose
To notify Next Export Documentation (NEXDOC) system users of a certificate issue and outage.
Key points
The department has identified an issue with NEXDOC certificates. The issue impacts all certificates with a processing establishment in the product description on the certificate.
The department is working on the solution which will be addressed as soon as possible.
To minimise the impact, exporters must not progress any REXs in NEXDOC to COMP status. Exporters and their agents can ensure REXs do not go to COMP by setting their print indicator on REXs to manual.
If your goods are departing for the European Union from Friday 23 June – Monday 26 June 2023, you can proceed to COMP.
The NEXDOC system will be offline tonight from 7.00pm to 11.00pm (AEST) to put the solution in place.
To ensure there is no disruption to your consignments please do not lodge or make amendments to REXs until after the outage is completed.
If you have any questions, please contact nexdoc@aff.gov.au.
